Birkdale Station

Birkdale Station is a Merseyrail train station situated in Birkdale Village.

Birkdale Station has two platforms on the Merseyrail Northern Line – heading towards either Southport or Liverpool Central.

Trains are usually every 15 minutes during the week and on Saturdays, and every half hour on Sundays.

It can be accessed by the 15A, 49 or X2 bus. There is a free car park as well.

For electoral purposes, Birkdale Station marks the boundary between Birkdale Ward and Duke’s Ward.
